With the water from the lines freezing in the rod eyelets and frost accumulating on the boats the Strike Eagle Bass Anglers braved the frigid temperatures to fish Falls Lake in Raleigh, NC. Unfortunately there didn't seem to be many lures that the bass would hit. However, the low temperatures and lazy bass didn't seem to affect one soon to be member.
Dean Wellmer managed to hook up with two keepers weighing a total of 4 lbs 10 oz. He caught them on a white and blue jig in 22 feet of water in a matter of 10 minutes.
